Rules & Regulations:
Registration Requirements
- All participants must register in advance to enter the contest.
- Registration forms must be submitted by Saturday, October 3.
- The contest is only open to children in grades K-5.
Pumpkin Drop-Off
- Participants must drop off their pumpkins between 9 and 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event, Saturday, October 10.
- The designated drop-off location is the Visit Yorktown booth.
Size Restrictions
- Pumpkins must weigh no more than 10 pounds.
- Children may choose to paint or carve their pumpkins.
Judging and Announcements
- Judging will be conducted by the public and will end at 12 p.m.
- Visitors to the booth are encouraged to participate in the voting process as they visit.
- Winners will be announced at 12:30 p.m.
- Winners do not need to be present to win.
Pumpkin Pick-Up
- Participants must pick up their entries between 12:30 and 3 p.m. on the day of the event.
- Any pumpkins not picked up by 3 p.m. will be discarded.
Additional Information
- The event organizers are not responsible for any damaged or lost entries.
- By participating, you agree to adhere to all contest rules and regulations, and give the County of York the right to use and publish photography on social media, the County website, print publications, and promotional materials.
